Bureau d´Études publishes new network map: Administration of Terror

Bureau d´Études is back with a new download on their website: A network map from 2009 called Administration of Terror, laying out the structure behind stay-behind networks worldwide.

The Paris-based media collective, founded by artist duo Léonore Bonaccini and Xavier Fourt in 1998, have been producing cartographies of contemporary political, social and economic systems. Their visual representation of transnational capitalism is based on extensive research, usually presented as large-sized murals.
The group became known in 2003 with the network chart  ‘Governing by Networks’, that visualizes the connections and interdependencies amongst global media conglomerates.
Revealing what normally remains invisible and contextualising apparently separate elements within a bigger whole, these visualizations of interests and cooperations re-symbolize the unseen and hidden." -
